Welcome to the Zero Room! This archive hosts fanfiction from the Doctor Who Universe. We welcome stories of all ratings from Doctor Who and Torchwood, and stories up to a Teen rating from The Sarah Jane Adventures. Crossovers between the Who Universe and other fandoms are also welcome.

Hi folks-

If you're finding any broken links, weirdly working issues, login issues, etc. - please contact me at measiwitch(at)gmail.com, with as much detail as you can regarding the problem.

I'm currently working on an "invalid format" registration issue. Please be very careful when you register to not put any extra spaces after your desired name or password. The system will kick you out again. If you're continuing to have problems, please email me your preferred login name and email, and I'll force a registration from the Admin screen (with a temporary password).

New Skins Wanted
We'd love to have creative designers add Torchwood, Sarah Jane, and Classic Who templates to our design list for readers to enjoy. If you'd like to work with designing, please go over to the eFiction skin download section and use one of the formats to tweak that is available:

Please note that skins must be compatible with 3.5. The original designer's credits MUST stay attached, with your name as "altered by".

Story Submission Reopened - What's New?
I've reopened story submissions with a basic list of the classifications that were on the original site. Please note that some things have changed:

Character List:
I've eliminated some of the characters that were not used on the old archive, and modified the listing for others (notably the Master). Please note that the 11th Doctor and his companion will not be added until Series 5 begins airing.

Spoilers list:
Now includes an individual spoiler list for Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Sarah Jane Adventures.

Warnings list:
The warnings has been expanded to include some common story warnings and triggers that were regrettably left out in the original structure. As I am not a trigger-prone person, I may have overlooked an important trigger. Please contact me if I need to add one. If you choose not to warn for stories, please note that in your summary for potential readers.

New Category - Other Fandoms:
Authors may offer fic in other fandoms besides the Doctor Who Universe. Subcategories can be added - just contact me.

If you have any requests for me to add to any of these settings, please let me know by emailing me at measiwitch@gmail.com.

Slowly getting back up and running
Welcome back to the Zero Room. Due to critical errors, I have not been able to restore any information from the previous backup of the site - the database from the backup has gone corrupt due to transfer errors (including a nasty little error that's adding me as a co-author to every story). However, we're now on a new host with more updated support.

I've done a completely new install of the efiction software, and am now working on recreating all of the categories, characters, etc. I expect to have these up and running by the end of the weekend.

Sadly, this means that everyone who wishes to participate on the site will need to reregister and resubmit their stories. You can still access the backup of the archive here and should be able to log on to copy and paste entries:

Please note that some of the categories and organizational structure may have changed.

Again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, and I do hope that you'll be joining us on the site once more.
